Building on the success of last year’s first academia program ‘Ready to become a 3D champion?” the featuring and Browzwear teams collaborate again on a new academia program in 2024. This year we partner in Bangladesh with BGMEA’s University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT).
In 2023, a global team consisting of a digi-hub based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and Dongguan, China, together with a head office in Hong Kong, organised several events and training sessions to promote digital transformation among a diverse range of industries. Now is the moment to gather and highlight the significant events taking place inside our prominent team in 2023. We are eagerly anticipating the expansion of digital development and solutions in 2024.
The Oi Ernsting’s family team in Dhaka and featuring’s digi hub transformed the Oi Dhaka 7th floor into a pop-up Design Studio for an Ernsting’s family visit in September 2023 to showcase not only the market’s creativity but also Oi’s digital approach to product development combined with a new showroom concept.
In June 2023, featuring LTD organised a workshop in our Dongguan Digi-hubs. This workshop provided insight into various aspects of 3D flat knitting and allowed all participants from the local industry, including buyers, designers, technical designers, suppliers, and experts the opportunity to learn, share, and exchange experiences.
In June, featuring LTD organized two separate workshops in Digi-hub Dhaka, Bangladesh, and Digi-hub Dongguan, China. There were workshops that provided insight into various aspects of 3D flat knitting and allowed all participants from the local industry, including buyers, designers, technical designers, suppliers, and experts, the opportunity to learn, share, and exchange experiences.
In March 2023, Digi-hub Centre in Dongguan received increasing demands for 3D training from OI members, OI and non-OI vendors, as well as prospective clients from Browzwear.
This academia workshop aims to assist the apparel industry with embracing the digital revolution. Apart from the competition to win a three-month internship with featuring LIMITED in Dhaka, the experience at our Digi-hub offered this new generation the opportunity to explore and experiment with tools that may be essential in their future careers.
The Digi-Hub is open to all OI and non OI vendors, agencies, students and everyone who wants to experience and try the Browzwear software. We have prepared demonstration focusing product development and fabric virtualisation. Both sessions can be booked via our booking website.
