The collaboration between featuring and KM. ON has resulted in improved simulation of 3D styles and the creation of accurate physical samples. The adoption of 3D technology has also allowed for the reduction of physical samples in pricing negotiations and the use of digital showrooms for style review and approval.
The featuring team has been using Ecoshot’s generative-AI techniques from Metail’s AI Imagery product since 2020. Despite facing challenges in AI production timing and poses, Ecoshot’s Generative AI enabled quick and quality-driven model production. featuring LIMTED met deadlines, created digital models that matched fit avatars, and eliminated manual adjustments. The experiment demonstrated the effectiveness of AI over traditional methods and the quality of AI-generated models, showcasing the future of digital fashion presentation.
The Oi Ernsting’s family team in Dhaka and featuring’s digi hub transformed the Oi Dhaka 7th floor into a pop-up Design Studio for an Ernsting’s family visit in September 2023 to showcase not only the market’s creativity but also Oi’s digital approach to product development combined with a new showroom concept.
In June 2023, featuring LTD organised a workshop in our Dongguan Digi-hubs. This workshop provided insight into various aspects of 3D flat knitting and allowed all participants from the local industry, including buyers, designers, technical designers, suppliers, and experts the opportunity to learn, share, and exchange experiences.
It is important to use accurate fabric virtualization in 3D product design prior to the digital design processes, such as creating patterns and virtual prototypes, style testing for physical prototypes, and finally, creating a virtual showroom. Accurate virtual fabric can help achieve the correct appearance when dressing up different styles and models. CHEVARO, a German brand specializing in tailor-made horse riding jackets, asked featuring LIMITED to help them build their 3D images for their website and open up their virtual doors to their clients.
